All About Outdoor Living went to see David back in March 2023. David was working in the interior fit-out industry so I knew he would be a hard taskmaster.
We got on well as I have been in the building trade for too many years to remember!! and after going back with some initial designs we agreed on a final layout. The client had agreed to get some provisional work carried out as the kitchen was to be located on the boundary fence at the very bottom of his garden this was a play area for his children and now grown up was dead space so David wanted to create an outdoor man cave to watch TV cook and chill with his family and friends during the summer. There was an issue with a wastewater pipe from the neighbouring property that had to stay so it was boxed in before our commencement of work. Also, a water supply, sub-concrete base and electric supplies were provided.
We started building the kitchen on site. The specific requirements were a gas BBQ, a small fridge, a Big Green Egg charcoal BBQ and a sink. The client chose the absolute black granite worktop and the marble effect tiles. We managed to squeeze it all in the area given and the result was stunning. The TV built into the wall at the rear was a great addition and the bespoke canopy set the whole project off.
All in all a fantastic project for a great client and we are all delighted with the result.
